Salary Range: £31k - £32k. Leonardo UK operates a grade-based salary framework with broad bands. The salary range shown reflects the approved grade band for this role, or a narrower hiring range published within that band, and is benchmarked against the external market. Exceptions above the standard range are managed through governance controls to protect internal equity.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support & Training Coordinator to join our engineering function to manage and coordinate the day-to-day administration tasks within the UK Engineering Division and Senior Team. You will be interfacing with all levels of employees from various areas of the business, so we are looking for individuals with a professional, positive and proactive attitude.

What you’ll do as Business Support & Training Coordinator:

  • Manage the dept's POAP (Plan on a Page) in line with yearly budgets and priorities
  • Manage and coordinate relevant training for the engineering department, to include processing of invoices, attendance registers and updating of training records
  • Manage and coordinate the attendance of conferences and symposiums
  • Liaise with team members to chase and collate Health & Safety attendance registers
  • Ensure all mandatory training is covered, refreshers booked and recorded
  • Process engineering technical documents from signature through to issue onto SAP
  • Organise and administer travel and subsistence for the Engineering Directorate
  • Submit and track expense reports in the Company’s Concur travel expense system
  • Type up internal/external documentation including classified and company confidential materials
  • Facilitate and coordinate visits to the Engineering Division, including security and hospitality
  • Produce and maintain materials for presentations and briefings
  • Submit and track all maintenance requests through the Maximo system

What you’ll bring:

  • Organization: Essential for managing schedules, coordinating workflows, and maintaining accurate digital or physical filing systems
  • Time Management: The ability to multitask, prioritize urgent deadlines, and adapt when unexpected tasks arise
  • Communication: Clear and professional articulation across all mediums, whether responding to emails, taking meeting minutes, or greeting clients
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Company software such as Microsoft Office Suite, SAP & Concur

Security Clearance: This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
