What you’ll do
- Deliver operational Radar support to internal and external customers.
- Provide performance reports to Project Management regularly.
- Manage spares and repairs.
- Liaise with logistics, export control and QA.
- Work with design teams to understand forecast product reliability and provide analysis against in-service data.
- Understand customers’ operational needs to guide development of support solutions for future environments.
Role based at Edinburgh site with hybrid working. Travel within the UK and potentially abroad; overnight stays may be required.
What you’ll bring
- Degree in engineering or science, or equivalent.
- Experience in defence industry or relevant experience applying Supportability engineering principles and standards.
- Experience in front-line technical support.
- Strong Excel and Word skills are desirable.
- Experience gathering, analysing and drawing insights from data.
- Ability to communicate concepts in non-technical terms.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across organisations, disciplines, cultures and seniorities.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving aptitude and ability to drive issues to resolution.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to influence and adapt.
