The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.

The main purpose of this role within the Procurement organization is to provide Subcontract Management support to Leonardo Sensors Line of Business. It involves all aspects of Subcontract Management, from assessing suppliers through award, delivery, acceptance, and closure of subcontracts, ensuring compliance with internal and external Governance and Legislation.

The role acts as the focal point for Procurement activities within demanding cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (ITPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide procurement governance and leadership within Bid/Project areas.
  2. Lead and manage procurement activities for effective Life Cycle Management, ensuring delivery and margin achievement.
  3. Apply procurement and subcontract best practices and processes.
  4. Develop strategic suppliers/partners and manage supplier performance and relationships.
  5. Prepare, negotiate, and implement partnership, subcontract, teaming, or nondisclosure agreements, managing export applications, ITAR, TAA procedures.
  6. Manage complex supply chains and support Scope of Work creation.
  7. Project manage supply chains, ensuring schedule and output clarity.
  8. Manage supply cash flow in line with customer payments.
  9. Handle monthly reporting, milestone monitoring, and remedial actions.
  10. Assess subcontract needs, identify suppliers, and review capabilities.
  11. Challenge project bid assumptions and ensure procurement data accuracy.
  12. Develop and approve RFQ packs, including SOW, technical specs, and subcontract terms.
  13. Assess tender responses and undertake source selection.
  14. Negotiate and award subcontracts with selected suppliers.
  15. Develop procurement and risk management plans.
  16. Approve milestone claims and maintain subcontracts through project lifecycle.
  17. Mediation of supply chain conflicts and drive performance to meet delivery objectives.
