As an Avionic Systems Engineer, working within our Helicopter Division you will be responsible for the design and verification support of avionics systems, from initial design through to supporting flight test programmes.
At Leonardo Helicopters we are responsible for the design of the complete air vehicle and working within the team you will have the ability to participate in all phases of the product design life cycle from participating in leading edge innovation to supporting aging aircraft.
What you’ll do as an Avionic Systems Engineer:
- As part of the Systems Engineering Team you will define, instigate and execute the activities required to design, develop and qualify avionic systems in response to specific customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree in a relevant subject (Electrical / Electronics / Aeronautical) or equivalent experience.
- A knowledge and appreciation of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle.
- Experience of creating and editing systems documentation.
- Experience in the application of Cyber risk evaluation and assurance requirements for aerospace.
- Security Clearance.
