We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Yeovil Training Academy, and we will provide full, expert training for the role. No prior teaching or military experience is necessary. As an Avionics Training Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping how our customers and colleagues understand and operate cutting‑edge helicopter systems. You’ll deliver engaging training, help develop innovative learning materials, and contribute to high‑tech synthetic training devices—all with our full support every step of the way.

Location: Yeovil, with flexible and hybrid working options.

What You’ll Do As An Avionics Instructor:

  • Design and develop clear, effective training content from technical documentation.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to a variety of audiences, both in the UK and occasionally overseas.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for specific avionic systems, with full backup from our experienced team.
  • Support the creation of advanced flight simulators and synthetic training devices.
  • Ensure all training activities meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.
  • Help create and invigorate student assessments.

Essential What you’ll bring:

  • A solid understanding of avionic systems.
  • A positive, professional attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
