Within the GCAP Joint Venture, in the Financial Operations team, we are looking for a Senior Finance Manager for GCAP HQ in Reading (UK).
Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial accounting processes, including month-end close, consolidation, and reporting activities;
- Own key controls over the financial reporting cycle such as reviewing journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations;
- Prepare and / or review statutory accounts for the relevant legal entities within their remit, and ensure consistency in the application of accounting standards and financial processes across all jurisdictions;
- Review and / or produce papers documenting significant accounting judgements. Review and / or prepare the journal entries for the one-time transactions and those supporting materials when required;
- Act as primary day-to-day point of contact for the rest of the Finance function and for statutory auditors as technical accounting subject matter expert;
- Manage consolidation processes across entities and inter-company accounting.

- Significant experience and knowledge of operational Finance processes, best practice, and performance at scale;
- Sufficient technical knowledge of IFRS, FRC guidance, as well as statutory requirements applicable to the companies in UK, Italy and Japan;
