We are looking for a talented and passionate Project Manager at Leonardo in Luton, working in the EW Line of Business.
Responsibilities
- You’ll join a creative team developing solutions for new and existing platforms.
- You’ll apply budgeting techniques for forecasting and re‑forecasting income, cash and cash flow milestones in order to ensure the integrity of the project plan.
- You’ll anticipate and manage risk and opportunities, measuring exposure to risk and provide recommendations to Project Managers.
- You’ll prepare analysis and reports including ‘what if’ scenarios to the management team, IPT, and external stakeholders.
- You’ll contribute to the preparation, management and review of bids (for follow‑on business and new business).
- You’ll engage with and manage a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- You’ll create, monitor, update project plans, and participate in the monthly update cycle.
- You’ll communicate any variations and changes to the contract or project to ensure accuracy of reporting, financial forecasting, and performance control.
- You’ll support the IPT in the day‑to‑day management of the project.
Qualifications
- Experience using project control methodologies and risk management.
- Knowledge of Agile management methodologies, Agile implementation and Agile planning.
- Proficient on SAP/Primavera tools for planning and project management elements.
- Breadth of understanding in all parts of the lifecycle and experience in some stages.
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders, using data and analysis to support line of reasoning.
- Typically meets the knowledge and experience competency levels of Project Manager (Entry) or PMO Officer as defined by the APM Competency Framework.
