Do you want to contribute to the next generation of UK fighter aircraft? With a programme of ground and flight trials round the corner, come and join the team integrating, testing and trialling new technology and equipment for future air programmes. With a combination of hands‑on integration work at our Luton site and travel to trials locations in the UK, you will make a key difference to the success of the next generation of aircraft self‑protection.

What you will do as a Test and Integration Engineer:

  • Conducting systems integration and testing activities for both ground-based testing and flight trials.
  • Preparing for and participating in readiness reviews for both test and trials activities.
  • Working with data analysis tools to understand the system behaviours and performance and to investigate reported issues and observations.
  • Working with the subsystem design teams to feed back test and trials outcomes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Demonstrable experience of integrating complex electronic systems in preparation for test and trials activities (ideally, but not exclusively, airborne military electronic systems).
  • Experience of conducting integration, test and trials activities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders of varying seniorities.
  • Experience of participating in test readiness activities (for example Test Readiness Reviews) for assessing the level of preparedness and risk for upcoming test activities.
  • Experience of analysing test and trials data and telemetry to provide assessments of system functionality and performance.
  • Experience of providing test and integration input to system designers as part of continuing system development.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to trials sites in the UK for extended periods.
  • To be self‑motivated with an aptitude for problem solving and driving difficult issues to conclusion.

This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
