We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Campaign Leader at Leonardo. You will work with the UK MOD to define a joint programme for the introduction of novel Electronic Warfare capabilities under Leonardo’s Sovereign Partnering Agreement (SPA).
You will be responsible for helping the Air Domain integrate new Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities.
What you will do:
- Provide advice on the planning process and provide the operator with insight into new or novel EW capabilities.
- Represent the EW Air Domain operator within Leonardo Integrated Campaign Teams and Integrated Project Teams.
- Support development of effective training strategies for novel EW capabilities.
- Lead the preparation of briefing materials for the introduction of new EW capabilities specific to EW Line of Business.
- Build a trusted relationship with the customer community to facilitate feedback on current EW capabilities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other Industrial Partners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key technical, programmatic and commercial stakeholders across Leonardo’s Electronics Lines of Businesses.
- Utilise Leonardo internal company procedures to ensure that issues are identified, tracked and accurately reported to senior management.
- Provide support for marketing & communications events such as shows, exhibitions, demonstrations, conferences, etc as planned and directed.
- Where required travel to key coalition partner nations and NATO to facilitate sharing of EW expertise.
What you will bring:
- Significant experience of RAF Air Domain operations.
- Relevant Defence sector experience and commercial knowledge.
- Knowledge of the value of EW Capabilities and Air platforms.
- Self-starter and highly motivated, able to set short and long-term planning goals in line with campaign and business needs.
- Innovative thinker able to anticipate and overcome problems in a complex MOD environment.
- Experience of the UK MOD training planning process.
- Influence of UK MOD to support UK Defence export.
- Output oriented with focus on achieving clear and ambitious goals.
- Ideally have significant experience in developing, managing and leading key strategic campaigns within the defence or other comparable sectors.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be capable of confidently briefing to senior stakeholders across industry, government and the military.
- Requirement to make visits (potentially extended overnight stays) to customer facilities in both the UK and overseas.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
