As a Despatch Team Member, you will be responsible for accurately packing products, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Care, focus, and precision are essential to ensure our customers receive the correct products in perfect condition. You will liaise with Project and Quality teams to ensure that all requirements are in place.
No experience is required as we have a robust training plan in place which will take you through all aspects of the role and what is expected at each stage.
Your main responsibilities as a Logistics Operative will involve:
- Pack and prepare customer orders with a high level of accuracy
- Ensure items are handled carefully to avoid damage during packaging and shipping
- Inspect products for defects or discrepancies before packing
- Label and seal packages following company standards and shipping guidelines
- Keep the system updated by using warehouse management system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the packing area
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment when required
- Work as part of a team to meet daily productivity targets
