We are seeking experienced Lead Software Engineers to join our EW (Electronic Warfare) line of business in Lincoln. If you have strong technical knowledge in C# .NET and are eager to expand your skillset, leadership and decision-making capabilities, this role will provide the foundation for your growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead software engineering efforts in the EW line of business in Lincoln, with a focus on delivering high-quality C# .NET solutions.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and provide leadership and mentorship.
- Inspire and support colleagues in a mature development environment.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
- Several years of hands-on experience in software engineering with C# .NET, delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget, with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of microservices architectures, containerisation, and object-oriented design, with familiarity of frameworks and tools such as WPF, WinForms, and Visual Studio.
- A commitment to automation across build, test, and deployment processes (CI/CD), plus understanding of Secure by Design principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full software engineering lifecycle—from requirements elicitation through delivery and release, with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Ability to inspire and support colleagues within multi-disciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.
- Interest in championing industry best practices, modular design, and toolchain optimization.
