Overview

You will lead large, complex pursuits in the Integrated Defensive Aids Systems (IDAS) line of business, using significant domain, market and customer knowledge to help define the strategy and prosecute an integrated approach for capture of the business. This will require external engagement with platform primes, commercial partners, mission data integrators and operators in the air, maritime and land domain. You must have excellent communication skills and be credible when engaging with customers to negotiate commercial and technical solutions. The role will require leadership qualities when dealing with internal stakeholders and driving the Integrated Campaign Teams (ICT).

What You’ll Do

You will be required to build a detailed capture plan based on the bid strategy to secure pursuit, bid and resourcing approvals. You will also develop bespoke win strategies, generate the price to win for individual campaigns and oversee the drafting of proposals. This is a high profile role focused on a key growth area for the organisation, with exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to contribute to the organisation’s success over the next decade. The role can be located at either our Lincoln or Luton sites, with flexibility to discuss part‑time working and what that means for you.

Security Clearance

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, including meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
