The IT Service Transition Lead will join a team of professionals, providing assurance through managing Operational Readiness for a range of IT project implementations. With a large portfolio of projects being delivered through our SIAM model, this role is critical to ensure the overall success of the project objectives and ultimately the continued growth of the Leonardo business. Responsibilities: Work with the project manager to initiate new project activity defining key operational deliverables. Ensure that operational deliverables develop in line with project maturity through checkpoints. Assess operational readiness of new project implementations before transition into Service Operations. Understand, anticipate, and influence customer demand for IT services. Manage the release process into operations for new IT capabilities. Ensure changes in the IT estate are managed to minimise risk and impact. Communicate IT operational needs effectively across teams. Understand corporate IT development directions. Knowledge and Experience: Deep understanding of service transition lifecycle, processes, and ITIL framework. Experience leading IT service transition activities in physical and cloud environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decision-making. Attention to detail with a focus on quality service transition. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a dynamic environment.
