Our 18 month Graduate Programme
Our Graduate Programmes give you the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects alongside subject matter experts.
On joining, you will receive a starting salary of £34,000 per annum, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus. You\’ll also be eligible for a £1,000 exit bonus upon successful completion of the programme. In addition, you may be eligible for a Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA), subject to specific criteria.
We encourage you to spend at least three days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.
As a Graduate Test Systems Engineer you will:
You will be encouraged to gain experience of all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, applied research and test.
You will have the opportunity to become involved in Test System discipline e.g. RF, Microwave, Antenna, FPGA and high speed digital engineering.
Throughout the development process, an understanding of the product domain becomes a key element of the learning process, and requires close liaison with engineers from other disciplines, such as Systems, Software and Mechanical.
Opportunities may also arise to interface with customers and end users.
Key Responsibility Areas
To learn the skills required for hardware development. This includes developing practical skills in advanced design techniques for aerospace applications, understanding of key technologies, develop experience using ECAD tools and test equipment.
You will be given the opportunity to explore a number of the aspects of the development lifecycle during their time in the graduate development frame work. This includes requirements analysis and definition, hardware design, hardware implementation, hardware integration, hardware test and through life support.
Most training will be delivered via on the job experience work on real production hardware within projects groups delivering test systems to our customers.
Additional formal technical training to augmented the on the job training will be provided via taught courses depending on the business needs and your career direction.
What we need from you:
All of our roles require (a) a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelors/Integrated Master\’s degree, or (b) a higher degree, such as a MSc or PhD.
For the Graduate Test Systems Engineer role, the acceptable degrees are: Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electronic & Software Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or Physics.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government\’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
