You’ll work across delivery, engineering, and product teams to ensure agile practices are embedded, outcomes are measurable, and teams are empowered to succeed. Your work at Leonardo UK will see you take the lead in solving customer problems in an agile, innovative and team-centric manner.
What you will do as a Scrum Master:
- Lead agile teams in the delivery of projects and services using Scrum or other agile frameworks.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on agile principles, roles, and practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Delivery Managers to align delivery with business goals.
- Support agile maturity across the organisation, contributing to agile communities of practice.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in complex and high security environments across defence or government.
- Experience working in software development and knowledge of software and release lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and delivery principles.
- Ability to coach teams and stakeholders in agile ways of working.
- Experience using agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or equivalent.
- Experience tracking team performance and supporting improvement.
- Confident using agile collaboration tools.
- Understanding of agile governance, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience in hybrid or scaled agile environments.
- Agile certifications (e.g. PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master, ICAgile).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and agile engineering environments.
- Ability to mentor junior Scrum Masters or agile team members.
