We have a fantastic opportunity within the Helicopters Finance team for a Bids Analyst.
As a Bids Analyst, you\’ll work on opportunities worth hundreds of millions, sometimes billions, for countries worldwide.
This role offers a fast-paced environment with a diverse team across various functions.
It has a strong track record of developing careers. Please note, this role is a JFF Level 5 (Business Support).
What you’ll do as a Finance Bids Analyst:
- Generate financial analysis
- Provide financial guidance and support in commercial negotiations with customers and partners
- Ensure correct application of financial strategy, policy, and standards
- Consolidate bids and cost data from Leonardo Helicopters and external partners
- Project contract costs and support pricing estimates
- Estimate prices for UK MoD work, considering government profit rates and SSRO regulations
- Provide year-on-year cost/revenue projections
- Review proposals for cost completeness
- Manage financial risks in bid data
- Document cost challenges and plans to address them
- Prepare profitability analyses for approval
- Conduct financial analysis for contract flow-downs between entities
What we need from you:
- Degree-level education or formal accounting qualification; 3+ years of experience
- Ability to liaise with senior project managers, commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers
- Experience with complex financial modeling under time constraints
- Skills to manage risks and opportunities effectively
- Team player with strong communication skills at all levels
