Your impact: You will support the development of Procurement Sustainability environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives. Supporting all aspects of the Governance and Sustainability teams in regards to demand and data from Supplier on‑boarding, Supplier capability assessments, Supplier performance and risk reduction.
What you will do:
- Identify emerging ESG themes relevant to the function.
- The support, data preparation and analysis of ESG initiatives across the Procurement lifecycle in support of the overall Leonardo Sustainability objectives.
- Support the Governance team in providing data and analysis of key processes covering the Procurement lifecycle.
- Supplier Qualification.
- Supplier Capability Assessment.
- Supplier Selection.
- Supplier Development.
- Maintain the external Manufacturing Process Capability Tool with updated supplier data, developing the tool as required.
- Supports the provision of ESG data and reports including requirements from wider Leonardo business.
- In partnership with Procurement Managers maintain supply chain risk registers with the overall aim to mitigate and reduce risk.
- Support Commercial in responding to Customer requests around Sustainability, including pre‑qualification questionnaires and surveys.
- Participate in Supplier Assessments.
What you will bring:
- Good understanding of ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles and how they apply within supply chains.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, ethical sourcing and SBTi (Science Based Targets).
- Ability to collect, analyse and interpret sustainability data.
- Experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI or similar for reporting and dashboard creation.
- Experience supporting supplier onboarding, due diligence and sustainability assessments.
- Strong communication skills to work cross‑functionally.
- Ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to support decision making.
- Contribute to training, awareness, and capability development within Procurement teams.
