What You’ll Do as a Manufacturing Technician Apprentice:
- Learn core technology skills on the job, complemented by problem‑solving and continuous improvement training.
- Complete a series of placements covering all aspects of manufacture.
- Specialise in one of the following areas: electromechanical assembly, electro‑optic assembly, electronic test, optical test, or inspection.

Salary: £17,850 per annum.
Apprenticeship Commitment: On average, spend at least three quarters of your week on site to integrate with the team and maximise learning.
Security Clearance: Role subject to pre‑employment screening under the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Additional Personnel Security Controls such as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply.
