Are you an Ergonomics Assessor looking for an exciting new challenge? Here at Leonardo we are hiring for a DSE & Ergonomics Assessor to join our team to support our employees based at our Luton, Basildon, Bristol, London, Southampton and Lincoln sites. Therefore this role can be based from any of these locations.

This a varied role where you assess the needs of DSE and will coordinate the completion of the training and risk assessment process for these sites, in compliance with legislation and company requirements. You will also advise on ergonomics with a special focus on manufacturing halls and laboratories.

As the DSE & Ergonomics Assessor you will be required to:

Provide help and support for employees completing the Cardinus risk assessment.

Support and guide on various DSE and Ergonomic issues.

Build relationships with key stakeholders across the sites, promoting the development of a positive culture and best practice.

Contribute to the implementation, monitoring and measurement of the DSE process.

Monitor the completion of the training and risk assessment packages for each location.

Assessment, arranging in-person or virtual DSE assessments with Users with discomfort issues & write up reports.

Reporting electronically any incidents including near misses on Sphera

Responding and acting upon any action assigned on Sphera with regard to ergonomics

To analyse ergonomic data available from all sources and use this to formulate ergonomic interventions and improvements

Maintain accurate notes, electronic records on the restricted Sharedrive ensuring that information is managed in accordance with GDPR and patient confidentiality at all times

HSE Reps meetings and HSE Quarterly Management meetings – attend as & when required

Proven track record of delivering DSE assessments, improvements and working within a HSE function.

DSE Assessor training

NEBOSH General as a minimum

Formal ergonomic qualification would be an advantage

Willingness to travel and work at other sites.
