The project is progressing at pace through continuous systems and software design upgrades, to enable the product to continue to meet the needs of end-users who operate in challenging environments. ECRS Mk0 is a highly visible product with its success being critical to future business winning for Leonardo.

Leonardo is seeking to recruit Systems Engineers to join its ECRS Mk0 programme to support on-going Integration, Verification and Validation (IVV) activities for current & future contracts. Depending on your experience, there is opportunity to join this team at varying levels of seniority (including Senior and Principal).

Working under the guidance of the Project Engineering Lead the successful candidate will play a key role in preparing the compliance case for the product and gaining customer acceptance of the compliance position presented. You will thrive in dynamic environments with the support of a diverse immediate and wider team.

  • Support the Compliance Team Project Engineering Lead to achieve key project milestones as defined in the engineering schedule.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to complete verification activities.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to define verification statements.
  • Engage with the wider stakeholder community, including the ECRS Mk0 customer community, to achieve acceptance of the verification evidence presented.

What you'll bring:

  • Ability to peer review verification and test related work products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary dynamic engineering environments.
  • Experience of DOORS.
  • Proactive.

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Siemens Teamcenter, and MATLAB for data processing.

What else would help:

  • A 2:1 or higher in a relevant engineering or science-based honours degree.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
