Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer that would like to aid in the delivery of high-performance hardware that forms part of our Eurofighter Typhoon Radar? In this role, you will experience the full engineering lifecycle within Leonardo assisting with both product development and production support. You’ll collaborate closely with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business and work in close partnership with the Typhoon Integrated Project Team.

What you’ll do as Senior Electronics Engineer:

  • Design engineering solutions considering all requirements such as product quality, safety, reliability and testability.
  • Resolve routine and complex technical and delivery issues within engineering, related to defined work package assignments, and in accordance with local team engineering plans and processes.
  • Communicate non-routine technical and delivery issues to local engineering team or direct line management with resolution proposals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to develop skills and competencies within the individual’s own engineering discipline and wider project.

A degree or higher qualification in Electronics or a related engineering discipline. Supporting throughout the full hardware lifecycle from requirements analysis; through design, and unit test; Hands on experience of Hardware, Firmware & Software Integration of digital systems onto hardware platforms is essential. Good understanding and experience of the design of high-performance products for series production. A background with experience working with high-speed digital technologies.
