Join as an Industrial Placement Systems Engineer within the Customer Support and Service Solutions (CS3) line of business.
Our 12‑month programme allows you to apply your studies in a practical setting, develop technical skills, and gain insight into how our business operates. Engage with challenging project work and deliver innovative business or technical solutions. Collaborate with leading engineers using new technology to solve customer problems. Work with a wide variety of stakeholders to understand their needs throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Areas of responsibility:
- Support Solution Design – conceptual design and development of new support solutions and services.
- Technical Support – hands‑on testing and repair of in‑service equipment.
- Digital Development – maintenance and support of digital tools for customers.
- CS3 Engineering Capability Development – cross‑cutting activities to improve services.
Key qualifications:
- Predicted 2:2 or higher in an engineering, physics, mathematics or STEM discipline.
- Passionate about engineering with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently on complex tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to document and present findings.
- Capable of planning, prioritising and delivering high‑quality work.
Security Clearance: Pre‑employment screening, BPSS and optional National Security Vetting (NSV) required.
