Your Impact

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior People Partner to work closely with senior leaders across our Finance and Project Controls functions, whilst also leading and delivering strategic people initiatives across the Integrated Sensing and Protection (ISP) Line of Business. The role works collaboratively with colleagues across the wider People Team, including Talent Attraction, Learning & Development, Early Careers and Reward, to deliver an integrated people service.

What you will do as a Senior People Partner

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to understand business priorities and provide strategic people advice that supports the achievement of business objectives.
  • Partner with the Finance and Project Controls Organisation leadership teams to implement the UK People Plan and deliver people solutions aligned to functional and business priorities.
  • Lead and deliver strategic people projects across the ISP Line of Business, working collaboratively across functions to drive organisational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted coach to leaders, supporting organisational change, leadership capability and effective people management.
  • Use people data and insight to identify trends, inform decision making and shape people interventions that improve business performance.
  • Champion Employee Experience and Inclusion as key elements of the wider business strategy, actively supporting initiatives, networks and forums that enhance both across Leonardo UK.
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning and talent initiatives to ensure the business is appropriately structured and equipped for future success.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, supporting managers to resolve complex cases while mitigating business risk and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider People Team to deliver a seamless, high-quality people service and contribute to the continuous development of People practices across the UK.

What you will bring

  • You will be an experienced HR Business Partner or People Partner with a proven track record of delivering strategic and operational people support, ideally within a technology, engineering or complex business environment.
  • Experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior stakeholders to deliver positive business and people outcomes.
  • The ability to lead and deliver cross-functional people projects and organisational change initiatives.
  • Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and support leaders in developing high-performing teams.
  • The ability to translate business strategy into practical people solutions that drive organisational performance.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of UK employment law and employee relations.
  • Experience of using people data and insights to support decision making and measure the impact of people initiatives.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or Level 7) or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively across the wider People Team and builds strong partnerships across the business.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
