As a Power BI Engineer, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, applying your analytical expertise and communication skills to deliver business intelligence solutions that support innovation and operational excellence.
This role focuses on delivering BI solutions and data modelling to enable data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:- Apply computer data modelling (Data Modelling) with Business Intelligence, ensuring semantic and structural consistency of data to support analysis.
- Carry out the logical and physical design of business data models and their implementation in Business Intelligence environments, typically as dashboards and reports, turning data into insights.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure that data is structured consistently, accessible, and ready for analysis, thereby supporting data-driven strategic decisions.
- Proficient in Power BI with experience in the MS SQL Server BI stack, including Power Query, Power BI and DAX.
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory and Talend Studio 8 ETL developer tools, including TMS or TAC cloud management.
- Proficient SQL skills using MS SQL Server management tools.
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Knowledge of Talend ETL datasets, transformations and data loading to MSSQL server (design, development and deployment).
- Experience with SAP BO / SAP BI (Web Intelligence, IDT, Design Studio, SAP Lumira), SAP Data Services, SAP BW.
- Experience with Oracle SQL Server Management.
