Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Senior People Partner to join the People Team at Leonardo. The Senior People Partner will lead and drive the implementation of our People Plan in partnership with the SVP and other senior stakeholders. The role is primarily focused on delivering the UK People Plan effectively into the business while working with senior leaders, line managers and employees to create a positive and productive working environment.
- Form an effective part of the Line of Business (LoB) leadership team to achieve the business goals and create a positive working environment for the wider teams.
- In collaboration with the UK People Leadership Team, set the long term vision for working in Leonardo Electronics UK and translate that into tangible improvement actions.
- Work with the SVP to ensure Senior Leadership and LoB team behaviours and attitudes reflect business values, apply appropriate professional standards, set targets and review individual performance regularly.
- Act as a change agent and coach with senior leadership team(s) to maximise their impact and focus on their role as People Leaders.
- Champion Employee Experience and Inclusion as two pillars of the wider business strategy, taking an active role in the network groups and forums which help enhance both pillars in Leonardo UK.
What you'll bring
- An experienced People leader with a track record of delivering positive people focused change – preferably within a technology focused business.
- The ability to engage and interact with senior levels within the organisation and build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Someone with a passion for continuing to develop themselves and others through coaching, formal development and stretching priorities.
- The ability to articulate the value the People function brings to the organisation and how that translates to business strategy and performance.
- Solid knowledge and experience of employment law.
- CIPD qualifications desirable.
- A team player who can work well with the UK People Leadership Team.
