Job Description:

Your Impact

We are seeking a Visualisation Technical Lead to guide the delivery and evolution of our data visualisation products. You will combines leadership in technical design and development with ownership of end-to-end product lifecycle management. You will be the principal authority on visualisation technologies and solutions, ensuring we deliver high-impact, scalable, and future-ready data products.

Product Delivery Ownership

  • Lead the design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data visualisation products.

  • Ensure robust, secure, performant, and user-centric delivery of visualisation solutions.

  • Oversee operational stability and continuous improvement of products in production.

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the division\’s technical authority for data visualisation tools and practices.

  • Define and uphold best practices for visualisation solution design, coding, testing, and deployment within the boundaries of the enterprise data architecture

  • Mentor and support development teams working on visualisation components.

  • Act as an intelligent customer to enterprise IT, clearly articulating the team’s technical needs and roadmap priorities to influence data platform and infrastructure decisions.

Innovation & Technology Strategy

  • Track and evaluate emerging technologies in the visualisation space.

  • Lead the adoption of next-generation visualisation techniques and tools.

  • Stay aligned with IT on platform developments, ensuring visualisation needs are anticipated and supported by enterprise data infrastructure.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Own the lifecycle of visualisation products, including upgrades, migrations, and retirements.

  • Coordinate cross-product enhancements to ensure alignment with evolving organisational needs.

  • Develop deprecation plans for legacy tools and drive transition to newer platforms.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with product managers, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to align product delivery with business priorities.

  • Be consulted on pipeline planning, ensuring efficient and strategic product development sequencing.

  • Communicate technical decisions and product health to leadership and cross-functional teams

  • Collaborate proactively with IT as a key stakeholder in the delivery of data capabilities that underpin product success.

What you\’ll bring

  • Proven experience leading technical delivery of data visualisation products in a complex environment.

  • Expertise in PowerBI, Talend, SAP and Azure

  • Strong background in software development practices including CI/CD, testing, and deployment automation.

  • Experience working effectively with enterprise IT teams and influencing shared platform decisions.

  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management in a technical context.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Passion for staying at the forefront of visualisation trends and innovations.

  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
