Job Description
Salary: £70,000 - £78,000 (subject to Leonardo UK’s grade‑based salary framework).
Key Responsibilities
You will generate the Information Advantage Integrated Business Plan for the UK Domestic market in Defence and Space, lead relationship development with strategic stakeholders, and develop and execute engagement plans, including a go‑to‑market plan for Space Command.
- Establish and manage relationships across the UK Military Strategic Headquarters, focusing on CIOs within Front Line Commands, Cyber and Specialist Operations Command.
- Engage with the National Armaments Director Group, focusing on Defence Innovation and Defence Digital.
- Develop and validate the rolling 5‑year order‑intake forecast for the Domestic Defence and Space portfolio.
- Translate strategy into sales conversion and deliver digital capabilities to Defence and Security markets.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and commercial acumen with proven experience.
- Experience with the Shipley Process or a similar structured sales process.
- Knowledge of digital or software sales, “as a service” concepts, and consultative sales.
- Existing knowledge of key stakeholders across the UK Defence and Space market.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn.
- Security Clearance
This role requires pre‑employment screening under the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
Additional National Security Vetting (NSV) may be required, including Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
