Programme Delivery Manager in Reading

The Programme Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing delivery activities within the international GCAP Electronics Evolution (G2E) Domain Project Management Office (DPMO), under the direction of the Domain Lead PM and into the GCAP IPT (Integrated Project/Programme Team). The delivery manager will ensure that programme activities are executed according to defined requirements, scope, timeline, quality standards and budget. Within the DPMO, the role will oversee partner project execution, deliverable monitoring and testing and acceptance processes in line with requirements.

The programme delivery manager will proactively handle issues and communicate scope changes in a clear and timely manner, maintaining key stakeholder engagement throughout project execution, on behalf of the DPMO and into the customer, Edgewing. This role will hold a responsibility for coordinating delivery of a high-risk & highly complex programme that is critical to the business. The candidate will have strong communication skills, robust delivery disciplines and effective cross-functional collaboration to ensure outcomes and maintain confidence of the customer. The role will not hold responsibility for any Leonardo UK Profit & Loss directly, but is operating in a consortium environment on the review, reporting and management of x-partner activities in accordance with the DPMO Op Framework and G2E Programme Management Plan.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in programme management, including leadership of large, complex programmes with a strong focus on programme delivery.
• Experience managing project budgets, resources, schedules and performance baselines.
• Demonstrated abilities in monitoring, evaluating and reporting of programme performance.
• Strong background in issue, risk and opportunities management.

Security Clearance: This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
