As a Project Manager in the Cyber Security Division, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of innovative projects, supplying safety through technology to provide our customers with more efficient, safe and secure products and solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Joining an established Integrated Project Team (IPT) you can be based at any one of Leonardo’s UK sites with extensive travel and site working at other UK sites depending on the needs of the projects. You will lead the implementation of secure infrastructure enhancements to new and existing facilities for our internal and external clients throughout the RIBA stages (Concept to Handover). You will belong to a community of diverse Project Management professionals, bringing your own unique skills to contribute towards business improvement initiatives ensuring best practice and a consistent level of high performance.
You will be responsible for managing all activities in the life cycle of a project or group of projects, demonstrating an agile mind-set to actively and positively influence the team’s performance and project outcomes.
What you’ll do as a Project Manager:
- Lead with the customer community, earning their trust and inspiring confidence through your energy, thoroughness and consistent delivery of undertakings.
- Ensure that all contractual obligations are successfully achieved on site whilst working safely.
- Monitor project performance, defining actions aimed at the improvement of project performance to maximise the economic and financial objectives of the project.
- Ensure achievement of project goals during the entire lifecycle of the project.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and the customer to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the effective application of all governance requirements.

What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience of managing successful secure infrastructure projects for UK MoD special access projects.
- Experience and qualifications in running construction projects and supervising sites, ensuring the project runs smoothly, safely and is completed on time and in budget. This includes: preparing the site, including installing temporary offices and facilities before construction starts.
- Ability to both communicate with and influence stakeholders.
And it would be beneficial if you had:
- The Black CSCS Card (also known as the Black Manager’s Card).
- A relevant construction management or technical related NVQ/SVQ at level 6 or 7 or equivalent.
- CITB Managers and Professionals (MAP) Health, Safety & Environment Test within the past two years.
- APMP Practitioner Qualification.

Security Clearance: This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
