Overview: Do you want to play a key role in sustaining one of Europe’s biggest defence programmes? As a Senior Project Manager within our Typhoon Support Enterprise team, you will be at the centre of ensuring operational excellence for Typhoon DASS support across multiple customers. Based in Luton, you’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to drive performance, efficiency, and innovation, while shaping the future of our support strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Project Management support to the DASS Support Programme Manager and help lead the cross‑functional Typhoon DASS Support Integrated Product Team (IPT), ensuring effective management of common topics across all Typhoon customers.
- Drive operational performance at ML4, focusing on repairs backlog reduction and operational efficiencies.
- Act as the main point of contact for all customer support DASS related product & repair queries.
- Champion best‑in‑class project management practices including financial accountability & reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in project management, ideally within complex engineering or defence environments.
- Ability to lead, influence, and federate diverse cross‑functional teams.
- Strong capability in generating and executing data‑driven plans that deliver measurable benefits.
- Knowledge of the DASS product and the Eurofighter landscape is advantageous but not essential.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Security Clearance: This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
