Leonardo UK is offering an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team at our state-of-the-art Leonardo Academy in Lincoln. As a Trainer in Electronic Warfare Mission Data, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the EW community by delivering and developing training across a broad spectrum of EW disciplines. This role is particularly suited to professionals with Mission Data Generation and Operations experience, providing a chance to apply your knowledge and expertise in Electronic Warfare systems to support the next generation of airborne mission success.
As part of a dedicated EW training team, you will:
- Design, develop and deliver high-quality training packages and courseware which provide part of an integrated solution to the operation of CEMA and cyber systems.
- Develop training scenarios, based in a synthetic environment, that augment the delivery of more traditional training.
- Develop aspects of training solutions alongside customers and industry partners.
- Liaise with technical specialist teams to define training requirements and develop technical understanding of CEMA Systems.
- Support UK and international customers by developing bespoke learning solutions aligned to operational requirements.
- Liaise with subject matter experts and engineers to translate complex technical content into effective training.
- Deliver training at UK and overseas customer sites, with regular global travel, including potential for extended stays.

What you’ll bring / Qualifications
We are looking for individuals with a strong EW background, preferably with experience on air platforms and Mission Data Generation. Key attributes include:
- Essential: An understanding and broad awareness of the four operational CEMA pillars:
- 1. Offensive Activities – including both Offensive Cyber (OC) and Electronic Attack (EA).
- 2. Inform Activities – Single SIGINT Battlespace (SSB), Electronic Surveillance (ES), Cyber intelligence and reconnaissance.
- 3. Defensive Activities – Electronic Defence (ED) and Defence Cyber.
- 4. Enabling Activities – Spectrum Management, Capability assessment and Targeting.
- - Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO).
- - Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO).
- - Cyber Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (Cyber ISR).
- - Cyber Operational preparation of the environment (Cyber OPE).
Desirable:
- Knowledge of systems approach to training (SAT) such as JSP 822 etc.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS).
- Awareness of international defence training practices and export controls.
