Your Impact At Leonardo, we have an exciting opportunity for a Lab Management Senior Engineer. Based at our Luton site, you will work within the Operations sector, reporting to the Site Support Group Manager. You will be responsible for managing all onsite engineering and production laboratories, test facilities, equipment, calibration, and supporting laboratory staff.
What you’ll do as a Lab Management Senior Engineer:
- Facilitate the availability of laboratory facilities to support R&D and production activities.
- Ensure health and safety standards within laboratories by creating and maintaining safety procedures, in conjunction with SHE and OH departments.
- Manage the Test Equipment Managed Services (TEMS) project, supporting the movement of equipment to calibration providers and supporting Test Equipment Coordinators.
- Oversee laboratory space allocation to support various projects and ensure all necessary facilities are available.
- Support SHE/QA audits, both internal and external.
- Assist the Quality Assurance department in maintaining high standards and resolving non-conformances.
- Support Lab stewards and Test Equipment coordinators in their daily tasks.
