During Leonardo’s four-year Business Management Graduate Apprenticeship scheme in Edinburgh, you will study at the University of Strathclyde to complete a Business Management BA (Hons) degree through a mixture of work-based learning, distance learning, and day release at the University.
We seek individuals who understand the importance of effective project planning and controls and are ready to commit to working in the business while also enrolling in a four-year degree program. This is an opportunity to contribute to and experience project planning across various business sectors. Upon completion of the program, you will be a highly skilled member of our Project Planning and Controls community.
Programme Description:
During Years 1 and 2 of the degree, you will study core modules and work closely with work-based mentors to apply your academic knowledge in a practical context. You will learn how to schedule projects and track project performance, developing knowledge of project planning techniques and procedures, and gaining practical experience with SAP and P6 planning/project management systems.
Years 3 and 4 will focus on developing higher-level cognitive skills and integrating knowledge, professional competencies, and transferable skills. You will participate in Integrated Project Teams meetings to address questions concerning project planning and coordinate activities with other related areas of the business to support the planning process. You will further enhance your operational skillset, enabling you to take ownership of your own project planning portfolio.
The final positions will be within the Planning Function in Edinburgh.
The starting salary for this role is £21,525.

- Preferred: a business-related subject
- Standard Grades (1-3) / National 5: (A-C) in English (or equivalent qualifications to Highers / Standard Grades).
SAAS funding from English apprentices moving to Scotland must have residency in Scotland before August 1st, 2025.
Please note that in order to apply for this opportunity, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance, typically to the level of Security Check (SC), which includes having a minimum of 5 years permanent residency in the UK.
