At Leonardo, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Production based Operations Material Controller.
Your Impact
As an Operations Material Controller you will control the flow of material within the Production environment in a timeframe that supports the Master Production Schedule (MPS). You will be tasked with ensuring that all materials within the operations material pipeline are managed to an appropriate build standard. All requirements will be maintained within SAP where you will manage all internal material items to ensure compliance to plan.
Responsibilities
- Output is monitored from the SAP plan on a compliance / nonâcompliance basis.
- You will be involved in the generation of Manufacturing Works Orders delivering and maintaining accurate data within SAP.
- This role is based within the Operations Manufacturing shop floor and is a hands-on role managing the movement of Materials and Manufacturing Works orders ensuring delivery to planned requirements.
- In addition, the role also involves dealing with nonâcompliant materials with Return to Vendor, Repairs and management of Inventory including material disposition on a day-to-day basis.

No Experience is required as we have a robust training and development package which will take you through all aspects of the Material Management process and delivers what is expected from you at each stage.
Security Clearance
This role is subject to preâemployment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
