Are you passionate about helping people navigate international assignments, immigration processes and global workforce mobility? We are seeking a Global Mobility Advisor to support all aspects of the assignment lifecycle, ensuring effective end‑to‑end process management and compliance with external regulatory requirements. This includes areas such as immigration, social security, posted worker compliance, tax, international payroll, healthcare and relocation services. A key objective of the role is to deliver a seamless and positive experience for mobile employees, while aligning global mobility activities with broader business priorities and talent strategies. The role also includes responsibility for supporting the management and ongoing compliance of the UK inbound sponsor licence. In addition, the team’s remit extends to the governance and oversight of International Travel and Frequent Business Visitor policies, alongside the management of traditional structured international assignments. Hybrid working is available for the role with an expectation of being in our Luton office three days a week.

What you will do as a Global Mobility Advisor

  • Global Mobility Support: Support the Global Mobility Team in delivering the Global Mobility Strategy aligned with Business needs. Act as the dedicated point of contact for day to day assignment questions, both from the business and assignees. Act as the point of contact for the preparation of the assignment agreements and calculations. Act as the point of contact for all aspects of payroll processing and questions. Support initiation with external vendors in relation to start and end of assignment actions. Accurately track assignment moves, ensuring assignee data is up to date.
  • Policy & Programme Management: As a member of the Global Mobility Team, support changes to the global mobility policies as directed (expatriate, short-term assignments, permanent transfers, remote work, etc.)
  • Compliance: Support compliance requirements ensuring local and international laws are adhered to. Understand broad global mobility tax, social security, and legal compliance requirements.
  • Operational: Manage the end-to-end mobility lifecycle, from pre-assignment planning through to repatriation or localisation. Ensure accurate and timely reporting, data analysis, and process improvements. Maintain knowledge of best practice and Global Mobility trends. Participate in external conferences, seminars to keep knowledge up to date.
  • Stakeholder & Employee Experience: Provide advisory support and solutions across the Business, as required. Create a positive experience for relocating employees and their families through effective support and communication. Working alongside the Global Mobility Team to support change management efforts related to global mobility initiatives. Build a strong industry specific insight to recognise the complex demanding international business environments.

  • Experience of working in an international or diverse cross-cultural environment.
  • Sound judgement when dealing with sensitive and complex issues.
  • Proven track record of working under pressure in a demanding, high volume and changing business environment.
  • Confidence with asking questions to understand or increase knowledge base, proactively seeking support to grow.
  • Analytical, numerate and process focused as well as being able to plan, organise and implement a complex systems of tasks and manage projects.
  • An ability to communicate complex information to a non-specialist audience.
