The IT Applications Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the effective operation, support, and continuous improvement of business applications by acting as a key interface between IT and the wider organisation.
Responsibilities
- IT Service Desk Dispatcher
- Problem ticket management
- Work Request Triage and organiser
- Purchase orders and invoicing maintenance
- Delivery of team KPI and reporting pack
- Project monitoring and schedule planning
- Work with the business to analyse incidents and provide relevant solutions or signpost to the correct resources
- Provide support for migration projects as and when required
- Understand the business requirements and triage to correct analysts
- Work with business experts and technical resources to facilitate incident & problem resolution
- Ensure effective communication with business and project stakeholders
- Operate independently with limited supervision
- Obtain acceptance for all deliverables from the business
Qualifications
- Experience in incident and problem management
- Experience working in service desk or call queue operations
- Understanding of service level performance and reporting
- Proactive mindset with a solution‑focused approach
- Ability to interpret business requirements effectively
- Skilled in triaging requests and prioritising workloads
- Strong collaboration skills when working with technical teams and business users
- Ability to deliver timely and effective solutions
