The opportunity:
At Leonardo, as we grow the Digital Solutions PMO team we have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Analyst, to support activities and assure the portfolio of change within a growing Digital Solutions organisation. You will need experience in working in a PMO team with the flexibility to carry out varied tasks across the portfolio. This role will also give opportunities to progress, providing training where needed.

The role is hybrid with the normal onsite place of work being our Bristol office (or negotiable to some other Leonardo sites), so we can work as a team when required. Some travel to other UK sites may also be required occasionally.
What you'll do as a PMO Analyst:
- Provide practical advice, guidance, and quality assurance to ensure IT projects follow the established project management methodology.
- Support and facilitate resource meetings and governance forums to enable effective decision-making and project oversight.
- Collate management information and data to contribute to monthly performance reviews and portfolio reporting.
- Assist project managers in project delivery using in-house tools and industry recognised methodologies.
- Facilitate the review process for Lessons learned and report key findings to the Portfolio performance review.
- Identify and contribute opportunities for process improvement within the IT organisation.
- Prioritise workload and effectively communicate appropriate issues and escalations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and other support teams to deliver an integrated service.
What we need from you:
You really must have:
- Previous experience of working within a PMO team.
- Exposure to and understanding of the full project life cycle (Waterfall & Agile Methodologies knowledge).
- Demonstrable attention to detail, thoroughness and commitment to quality and accountability of own output.
- Excellent communication skills - Ability to communicate information clearly, define needs and provide feedback in a timely and appropriate manner.
It would be nice if you had:
- Experience with implementing process improvement practices.
- Experience with Jira.
- APMP or PRINCE 2 certification is desirable.

Security Clearance:
This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
