At Leonardo Hotels, we are recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join our great team in the Kitchen. We are looking for an enthusiastic, genuine and friendly person who really enjoys working in hotels and wants to provide great hospitality to our guests, contributing to them having a memorable stay with us.

Experience we expect:

  • Exceptional Chef de Partie looking for their first Junior Sous Chef position
  • Background in branded hotels or restaurants is preferred
  • Flexibility to work different shift patterns including weekends
  • Comfortable following a standardised menu
  • Standards driven with good organisational skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and motivation skills to lead the team

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Manage, supervise and participate in the preparation of food for all the Food and Beverage outlets
  • Ensure food is produced in a timely and efficient manner and meets the highest standards of taste, quality and presentation
  • Control costs and productivity
  • Keep the team up to date about departmental, hotel and company activities through daily communications
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and that the team knows the correct hygiene standards expected
  • Ensure the kitchen team follows HACCP and food safety standards
  • Train and develop the team within the kitchen for future progression
