Main Tasks

  • Offer exceptional guest care at all times.
  • Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms in line with company standards, ensuring rooms are clean, comfortable, safe and secure for our guests.
  • Work in a timely and efficient manner to complete assigned tasks in line with productivity guidelines.
  • Respond to and complete guest requests in a polite and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment for the department, including storerooms, trolleys and corridors.
  • Assist with cleanliness of other areas of the hotel as required.
  • Support with cost control and environmental initiatives in the department, including linen rejects, control of consumables and utility consumption.
  • Operate in a safe and orderly manner, promptly reporting any hazards, accidents, losses, or damages to management.
  • Maintain awareness of utility consumption ensuring all equipment, lights, etc. are turned off when not in use.
  • Utilise all relevant systems correctly to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to Company policies, Code of Conduct, procedures and relevant legislation at all times - including, but not limited to, Data Protection and Health and Safety regulations; this role requires particular adherence to COSHH and Manual Handling.
  • Complete any other reasonable request made by a member of the management team or a supervisor.
