Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the maintenance department to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction
  • Work hands-on with repairs and improvements alongside the team
  • Motivate and develop team members to support hotel-wide objectives
  • Monitor and optimise maintenance activities to minimise downtime
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver high-quality guest experiences

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

  • Be yourself!
  • Have previous experience working in a similar role within the Hospitality industry
  • Be hands-on and prepared to get out and about in the hotel, working on fixes and improvements alongside your team
  • Have exceptional knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems that you can share with your team
  • Understand the finances of the hotel and have basic knowledge of budgeting and reporting
  • Be up for a challenge because no two days are the same working in Maintenance!
