The Deputy General Manager will direct the strategic initiatives and objectives of the hotel and manage day-to-day operations through the engagement of the team. As an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, you will demonstrate the company vision, mission and values. You'll keep the hotel running like clockwork and lead your team to ensure our guests have an incredible experience.
Responsibilities
- Set guest satisfaction targets and ensure these are met, using guests' feedback and surveys.
- Lead from the front and get stuck in – you're the face of the hotel operation.
- Regularly inspect rooms to ensure our product is to brand standard.
- Mentor team members in your hotel, who are undertaking in‐house Learning & Development programmes in support of their career.
- Collaborate with your local HR team to host engaging activities for your team.
- Host weekly operations meetings to discuss events and groups – you'll liaise with the Meetings & Events team to ensure your hotel is ready to deliver.
