Responsibilities

  • Service all AV requirements as requested by clients through the hotel events team.
  • Offer technical support to the venue's AV Manager and events team.
  • Ensure that all kit is set up neatly and to a high standard.
  • Assist with support for multi‑media broadcasting.
  • Provide a quick response to emergency or ad‑hoc requests.
  • Assist with IT‑related enquiries during support, escalating issues if required.
  • Maintain an on‑going stock check of equipment stored on site.
  • Work with the hotel's operation staff to ensure each room has correctly set up AV equipment.
  • Operate events as and when needed.
  • What We Expect From You
  • Be hard working and enthusiastic.
  • Have hands‑on knowledge of technical equipment (including training to mix a sound desk).
  • Possess knowledge and experience of the hotel conference industry (beneficial but not essential).
  • Have customer service skills.
  • Be a good team player.
  • Show good attention to detail and take pride in your own work.
  • Demonstrate good communication and time‑management skills.
  • Be computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
