Responsibilities
- Service all AV requirements as requested by clients through the hotel events team.
- Offer technical support to the venue's AV Manager and Events team.
- Ensure that all kit is set up neatly and to a high standard.
- Assist with support for multi-media broadcasting.
- Respond quickly to emergency/ad-hoc requests.
- Assist where possible with IT related enquiries during support; escalate issues if required.
- Keep an ongoing stock check of equipment stored on site.
- Work with the hotel's operation staff to ensure each room has correctly set up AV equipment.
- Operate events as and when needed.
What we expect from you
- Be hard working and enthusiastic.
- Have hands-on knowledge of technical equipment (including computers; we will train you to mix a sound desk).
- Knowledge and experience of the hotel conference industry (not essential but beneficial).
- Customer service skills.
- Be a good team player.
- Have good attention to detail and take pride in your own work.
- Good communication & time management skills.
- Be computer literate – good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
