Responsibilities
- Service all AV requirements as requested by clients through the hotel events team.
- Offer technical support to the venue's AV Manager and events team.
- Ensure that all kit is set up neatly and to a high standard.
- Assist with support for multi‑media broadcasting.
- Provide a quick response to emergency or ad‑hoc requests.
- Assist with IT‑related enquiries during support, escalating issues if required.
- Maintain an on‑going stock check of equipment stored on site.
- Work with the hotel's operation staff to ensure each room has correctly set up AV equipment.
- Operate events as and when needed.
What We Expect From You
- Be hard working and enthusiastic.
- Have hands‑on knowledge of technical equipment (including training to mix a sound desk).
- Possess knowledge and experience of the hotel conference industry (beneficial but not essential).
- Have customer service skills.
- Be a good team player.
- Show good attention to detail and take pride in your own work.
- Demonstrate good communication and time‑management skills.
- Be computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
