Experience we expect:
- General Manager, ideally with Meeting and Events background
- Background in branded hotels is preferred - so you will understand how we work
- Ability to lead and motivate your team providing day to day leadership and direction
- Ability to drive sales and profitability forward
- Excellent Customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
- To be able to make decisions in a fast paced environment and to enjoy it
- Commercially sound
Your responsibilities will be:
- Meet or exceed department and hotel targets, monitoring a variety of hotel systems via a clustered support team.
- To control and monitor all hotel operations through a team of managers and supervisors.
- To ensure customer satisfaction by having managers establish and maintain quality control standards for products & services offered to the customers.
- Ensure the control of costs and productivity through the establishment of standards of output for all aspects of the business.
- To ensure that we outperform the market in our specific segment and that fair share is always exceeded.
- To lead and develop an energetic workforce, having involvement in recruitment, learning and development, employee relations issue and team engagement initiatives.
