Overview
As a Workplace Specialist, you will support digital workplace services across the hub, delivering hands-on guidance for on-premise tooling, software, and end-user computing, including AV and site-based infrastructure.
You will collaborate with third‑party teams to provide a unified frontline service and support DS projects, ensuring governance and business alignment.
You’ll handle escalations, asset logistics, and hub-wide service delivery, contributing to a resilient, efficient workplace technology environment.

Responsibilities
- Support business escalations for digital workplace services across the hub
- Provide support for on-premise tooling, software, and infrastructure; identify gaps and improvements
- Advise on IT facilities, services, processes, and EUC usage
- Support EUC environments including AV and site-based infrastructure (e. g., rig machinery)
- Collaborate with third-party support teams to deliver cohesive frontline service
- Assist in onsite delivery of DS operational and BAU projects
- Assess and prioritise business requests; ensure proper authorization
- Approve supply of end-user computing facilities when justified
- Manage Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes for the hub
- Coordinate IT resource supply, assets, and logistics
- Manage local stock and logistics across hub and satellite sites
- Support events, Sev0, and major incidents as required
- Manage incidents and service requests related to infrastructure within hub scope
- Support new site/hub-based service demand and software maintenance/deployment
- Provide cross-site support across all hub locations
- Support HAM activities
- Support BCP testing and CE+ compliance activities
- Key requirements
- Experience supporting End User Computing (EUC) solutions, including AV technologies
- Knowledge of on-premise software, tooling, and infrastructure support
- Ability to translate business requests into technical actions
- Experience supporting frontline services (tech bars, VIP support, specialist tooling)
- Familiarity with IT service management processes and governance controls
- Experience using ITSM tools such as Service Now
- Ability to communicate technical guidance clearly to non-technical users
- Strong organisational and coordination skills for assets, logistics, and resource supply
- Demonstrable experience supporting digital workplace or EUC environments
- Experience in site- or hub-based IT service operations
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification
- Comp TIA A+ certification
- M365 Modern Desktop knowledge or certification
- Experience supporting AV solutions and specialist site-based infrastructure
- Experience contributing to budget tracking, forecasting, and IBP inputs
- Security clearance screening (BPSS) requirements
- Strong customer-focused service delivery
