Overview
In this role you will lead governance and performance across PI&E, acting as an intelligent customer to ensure compliant, sustainable service delivery. You’ll manage budgets, risk, and supplier performance, collaborating with external partners to meet business objectives. You’ll drive energy management, sustainability reporting, and contract governance while aligning technical specifications with business needs. This is a senior, onsite position that sits at the heart of PI&E governance and its Centre of Excellence, delivering a safe, compliant, high-performing service.

Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate the rolling 5-year Infrastructure Capital & Operational Investment Plan
- Assess PI&E spend to ensure alignment with approved budgets
- Ensure PI&E services comply with integrated management systems and ISO standards
- Lead energy management and sustainability initiatives, including reporting and Net Zero targets
- Maintain and review service provider SLAs, KPIs, and contractual deliverables
- Oversee contract change management and ensure timely, cost-effective amendments
- Monitor portfolio performance via dashboards and BI for improvement actions
- Maintain Asset Lifecycle Management Plan and collaborate with Maintenance teams
- Manage audits with regulatory bodies and internal auditors
- Ensure building environments are compliant, safe, and meet business needs
Key requirements
- Degree or HNC with relevant experience in a similar function
- Knowledge of building construction and engineering plant
- Experience in facilities management, outsourced services, and value for money
- Understanding of UK/EU safety and environmental legislation
- Excellent communication and emotional intelligence
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills across levels
- Computer literacy and experience with performance data analysis
- IOSH qualification and understanding of risk assessment and permit to work
- Knowledge of risk principles and integrated assurance
- Awareness of relevant regulations and external factors
