Your Impact: At Leonardo, we have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Employee Relations Advisor. You will be required to lead on a wide range of Employee & Industrial Relations activities. You will provide effective, efficient, and well thought through solutions on a varied range of complex employee relations matters, to both our People leader community and providing expert guidance and counsel to the HR community across the UK.
What you'll do as a Senior Employee Relations Advisor:
- Provide a proactive Employee Relations case management service on all matters that involve disciplinary, grievance, mediation, capability, performance, conduct, and absence management.
- Responsible for developing and implementing Employment Frameworks, Policies, Procedures and Guidance for Leonardo UK that covers a broad spectrum of employment matters.
- Ensure Employee/Industrial Relations issues are dealt with effectively, efficiently and ensuring the company remains compliant in accordance with Employment Frameworks, Policies, Procedures, UK Employment Legislation, Directives and Codes of Practice.
- Coach and Train People Leaders and People Managers, building a positive Employee Relations environment which is trust based and aligns with our values.
- Regularly maintain relevant Employee/Industrial Relations documents, files, records and management information systems as necessary.
- Be a point of escalation for complex issues relating to policy and process interpretation.
Current and relevant experience of direct operational Employee Relations situations with a proven record of resolving complex and challenging case management activity. CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5) to include specific modules in Employee Relations and Employment Law. Experience of working directly with ACAS and Employment Tribunal services. Working experience of regular engagement with Trade Union Representatives and Consultative Forums. Effective consulting and coaching skills, with workplace mediation experience desirable.
