Overview
As Senior Project Manager for Luton facilities, you will lead a broad infrastructure and construction programme across the site, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver safe, compliant, on-time projects. You will manage M&E and fabric upgrades, workspace changes, and security works while aligning with the site’s growth and capability needs. You’ll work with the Projects leadership team to evolve delivery strategy and champion continuous improvement. This role offers hybrid working and interaction with multiple Leonardo locations.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate infrastructure/construction programmes across the Luton site
- Manage key supply-chain partners and third parties in collaboration with site leadership
- Oversee all RIBA stages from definition through delivery in accordance with CDM and Leonardo processes
- Deliver a range of projects (workspace reconfigurations, refurbishments, site M&E and fabric upgrades, Net Zero and security)
- Ensure safety, compliance, and on-time delivery for all site projects
- Collaborate with wider site and UK FM teams to foster continuous improvement and best practice
- Organise project programme to meet site priorities and growth needs
- Lead design teams and appoint/ manage external consultants as required
Key requirements
- Experience in infrastructure/construction programme management in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- Client-side or consultancy background
- Experience leading projects through early RIBA stages and appointing design teams
- Ability to work as part of an extended enterprise delivery team
- Numerate, commercially aware, and strong in communication (written, verbal, presentation)
- Fully conversant with CDM Regulations (2015)
- Degree in a relevant subject; professional body accreditation desirable
- Experience in defence/high security and high-tech manufacturing environments
- Experience delivering net zero infrastructure and using industry-standard contract forms
- Strong written and verbal communication
