Reporting to the Maintenance Manager / Base Supervisor, you will support maintenance activities on Leonardo helicopters in accordance with CAA / EASA regulations and the approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE). This role is aimed at junior profiles, operators, or technicians looking to build and develop a long‑term career in helicopter maintenance within a Part-145 environment. While permanent employment is the preferred engagement model, we will also consider contractors (B2B) depending on candidate preference and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities under supervision
  • Assist in troubleshooting and rectification of aircraft defects
  • Perform inspection, removal, and installation of aircraft systems and components
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with the approved MOE and regulatory requirements
  • Complete maintenance documentation, technical logs, and job cards accurately
  • Support AOG recovery activities in the UK (and occasionally overseas)
  • Maintain high standards of safety, human factors awareness, and compliance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team efficiency

Mandatory requirements

  • Initial training or first hands‑on experience in helicopter maintenance
  • Good understanding of aviation maintenance principles and safety standards
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken, aviation standard)
  • Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
  • Full UK driving licence

Optional, nice to have

  • Exposure to Part‑145 environments
  • EASA/UK CAA Part‑66 license (B1.3/B2)
  • Type exposure on Leonardo helicopters (AW109, AW139, AW169, AW189)
